Self-led Integration - Sarah Woodhouse

What Is Self-led Integration™?

Self-led Integration™ is a powerful new approach to trauma healing and support designed to help people break free from old trauma-led patterns and create real change.

It's based on a powerful new framework...

We follow a Coaching Psychology framework so we’re fully focused on increasing well-being and resilience. We teach, support and empower clients to connect to their own agency, inner knowing and strength so they can create real change.

Our approach draws on polyvagal theory, attachment theory, neuroplasticity research, addiction recovery, the 12-step approach, parts psychology and cognitive models of PTSD.

Customisable somatic practices, daily exercises, groups, workshops and 1-2-1s empower clients to integrate specific skills and capacities. The approach comprehensively teaches clients to:

  • regulate their nervous system
  • signal safety to their body
  • develop a sense of centre and connection to their adult self
  • develop presence and reclaim their focus
  • feel and identify emotions & needs
  • acknowledge and reassure their triggered wounded parts
  • recognise and interrupt old patterns in their thinking, negative emotions, destructive behaviours and painful relationships
  • explore their preferences and understand their yes and no
  • develop long-term goals that are supported by short-term daily intentions

Self-led Integration works from the bottom-up, empowering people to create positive change and lasting transformation in their body, mind and life.

How It Works

Self-led Integration is a structured approach to trauma healing designed to create long-lasting transformation and positive change.

It works by taking a step-by-step approach to healing. Small but powerful incremental changes to how people live life and relate to themselves, other people and the world, lead to huge transformation over time.

Self-led Integration works because every part of the person – mind, body, self, behaviour – is compassionately considered, understood and integrated.

Integration is the process of bringing things together to form a unified whole. As people work through the eight steps of Self-led Integration™ they rewire their nervous system, break free from destructive old patterns, reclaim their sense of self and find freedom.

By making small changes every day, while following the powerful principles of Self-led Integration, people create real change.

Yes, healing is a unique, creative, magical process, but it’s also a science. Step-by-step, in a safe accessible way, Self-led Integration empowers people to build their own transformation.

How Is Self-led Integration Different To Other Approaches?

  • Self-led Integration empowers people to take control of their own transformation.
  • Self-led Integration teaches people how to heal and support themselves
  • Self-led Integration is not restricted and constrained to one method, one theory or one approach. This allows Self-led Integration to sit at the intersection of many different cutting-edge approaches.
  • Self-led Integration combines individual empowerment with group support and connection to facilitate long-lasting change.
  • Self-led Integration utilises new technology to help people heal, grow and connect.
